Controlling Impression/Anecdotes

My dad has many qualities that make him a great person and father. Like other dads, he can be firm, but also has a chill personality and is caring and supporting. Other traits he possesses are being selfless and self sacrificing, always putting his children before himself, which is something I will always respect him and admire of him. This reminds me of a time a few years ago when my dad told me and my brother how he would go across the border from the border town in Mexico we lived in to go to work everyday, and one time had to walk all the way back in the dark of the night because the buses weren't running. My dad also has told me many times how he would always satisfy our family's needs growing up, despite not always having the money to buy a lot and would make sacrifices with his money to satisfy our needs before his own.
