Slavery Today

Slavery changed America drastically as it left a lasting effect on the country, leaving behind stereotypes and racism that exist today. True that if it weren't for slavery, we might not have become the country we are today. Slavery itself was such an appalling thing and even thinking of it leaves people with a tempestuous feeling after remembering that such a thing actually existed.
