Born in Slavery

My favorite is Slave Narratives and the Waning Authority of Racism , which focuses on the rise in popularity of the black culture amongst blacks & whites during the early 1900's. I think it's my favorite because it talks about how racially powered authority had declined some during this time, which is why the African-American influences could come to be known.
